We made our own little websites! Mine is about Disney movies, specifically the lessons you can learn from them. There's also a survey and a video (I chose a sing-along, check it out!) Link here:

Networking: The next day
Today we continued on in our adventures in networking. Today we learned about devices and media. For example, fiber glass is the best form of media because data can travel 3000 meters unrepeated. But since it is expensive, copper is the most commonly used and data can travel 300 meters unrepeated. About devices- software is used in Application, Presentation, Session, and Transport. Hubs, repeaters, and media can be used on the Physical level. Also, everything can use the things on levels under it. I actually understand this... for now.

Networking: It's Magical.
Today, we quickly transitioned from Flash to networking! It's not easy.. but it's not that bad.
7. Application: browsers, any network application (PDU: data)
6. Presentation: common data format, encrption and compression (PDU: data)
5. Session: end to end connections, virtual sessions (such as chats/instant messenger) (PDU: data)
4. Transport: Quality of service (QoS, which is related to the speed of the computer) and flow control (PDU: segments)
3. Network: Logical address, IP address, Dynamic address, (all three are changeable or dynamic), routing (PDU: packets)
2. Data Link: media access control, physical/MAC address, static address (not changing or static) (PDU: Frames)
1. Physical: binary, bits (see below), and voltage (PDU: Bits)
That's what we call "Please Do Not Throw Sausage Pizza Away".
It's pretty cool I know.
Then comes bits and bytes. They're very similar except bytes are 8 times the size of bits. In the end, it make a big difference! More to come. :)

The Wonders of Flash
It's fitting that my first post on Flash is today. Today, everyone, is the day I figured out Flash. It was awesome!!!! I made a cute, albeit awkward, ocean scene. And I think I get it. Photoshop does seem easier now though! It's ironic that as soon as I get a handle on this class, it's almost over. I'm going to miss this awkward and amazing group of people, some of whom I won't have too many classes with :( Love you allllll! Including Rod :)
That's just ridiculous ^

Photoshop Does Not End, It Only Continues
Guess what?! We're still on Photoshop! I still feel the same: some days are easy and I feel like I understand it all, and other days I'm lost. Generally, I feel better than last week. Most things are easy like Quick Select and Magic Wand. But some things (I'm talking to you, patch tool) are a little iffy. Hopefully I make it through! Let's cross our fingers that I'll understand today!

Still on Photoshop..
We've been doing Photoshop almost every day now. Some days I get it, other days I don't. Some things are pretty easy, other things are NOT. But I still like it. Today we started a two-day one with a butterfly. I haven't finished it yet but I will tomorrow... it looks good so far!
Yesterday we had a little lesson on Naviance from the guidance counselors. It was definitely helpful... except the career matching service suggested I be a nun.

It's the size of a hand!
